Local Cartoonist exhibits work at Carnegie Free Library

Abstract:
The author reports on the launch of an exhibition of a local Cartoonist at the Carnegie Free Library in San Fernando. The author also cites the National Library and Information System Authority (Nalis) executive director Annette Wallace stating the importance of libraries and expressing her appreciation for the cartoonist making his work available through libraries. She also encourages him to write a "second book for young adults".

Cartoonist Keith “Keithos” Anderson of the Trinidad and Tobago Guardian enjoyed a successful launch of his one man exhibition 50 Faces at the Carnegie Free Library in San Fernando on Monday.
On display for the next two weeks will be entertaining and interesting caricatures of 50 leading cultural icons in T&T, created by the artist over a period of time.

Two of the icons, pannist Lennox Bobby Mohammed and Winston Bailey (The Mighty Shadow), were on hand to lend musical support for the launch. National Library and Information System Authority (Nalis) executive director Annette Wallace, in welcoming the guests, thanked Anderson for choosing libraries for his exhibition. The collection was first exhibited at Nalis in Port-of-Spain, last year.
